Over the weekend, we had the privilege of our State Director and Training Manager travel to Geraldton for a special time of training, fellowship, and celebration. They provided some training on reporting, team unity and use of Cell AED devices, which the Geraldton team will now carry. The weekend culminated in a heartfelt commissioning and graduation ceremony, where new chaplains were officially welcomed and prayed over as they step into their roles. It was a powerful and encouraging time, strengthening the team’s unity and reaffirming their commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus on the streets of Geraldton.

Saturday 8/2 street patrol. Our chaplains chatted with tank_and_his_human, a message of encouragement for people with mental health issues. We assisted an elderly man who was sleeping rough along the foreshore, by providing him with a warm blanket and agency support information. We handed out a few bottles of water and red frogs to passers-by, while having great chats with King, Cohen and Sebastian outside the Gero Hotel, thanks for all, for letting us take a pic!! God is Good😁

Busy night in the streets last night. Our chaplains provided first aid for a head injury, blankets for some cold young ladies and provided a phone for a fella that had no battery. Gratitude be to the Police, Paramedics and other volunteers who help when it’s needed. And to top it off we found Jesus outside the Vibe nightclub! Thank you Jesus for always showing up ♥️ Thanks to Graeme and Tyler for joining Rohan (street chaplain) in the picture.

Some pics from recent Street Patrols. In the last few weeks, our Chaplains have assisted a vulnerable young lady to safety who had been separated from her friends, provided water outside late-night venues, provided blankets/sarongs during cold nights and we were blessed to have a visitor from out of town buy us a cold drink from the Kebab Shop.
