Oh my goodness, this is absolutely beautiful ❤️ Billie’s story has always been such a special one to us, from a tiny 2.2kg orphan to the big, confident wombat she is today. Maureen has captured her so perfectly.

A huge thank you to Team Cre8 online store for organising this amazing opportunity, to the incredibly talented Maureen from MGStudio for donating her beautiful artwork, and to Wayne at Creative Frames of Melbourne for also supporting wildlife carers. ‘This is Billie from Kangaroo Pouch Animal Orphanage. When Billie arrived in care at just seven months old, she was a tiny orphan weighing only 2.2 kg after losing her mother in a car accident. She required round-the-clock care, warmth, and patience to survive.

Today, Billie is a strong and confident adult wombat, known for her determined digging, big personality, and even bigger appetite. Her journey is a powerful reminder of the resilience of Australia’s wildlife—and how much difference compassionate rescue can make.

By purchasing this artwork, you are directly supporting the lifesaving work of Kangaroo Pouch Animal Orphanage, helping provide food, veterinary treatment, and lifelong sanctuary for animals like Billie.’

Grandpa Swampy enjoying one of life’s simple pleasures… a fresh bottlebrush flower 🌺

Even in his old age, he still gets excited over the little things, and watching him happily nibble away always makes us smile. Despite only having one tooth left these days, he still manages to enjoy his favourite treats in true Grandpa style ❤️🦘

It’s hard to believe that ten and a half years ago, Tilly was a tiny bruised pinkie fighting for her life.

If you keep watching, you’ll see the photos of what Tilly looked like when she first came into care. You can see beside my fingers just how tiny she was.

Today, Tilly is still here, still loved, and still part of our family. ❤️🦘

JoJo, Viv, Nina, Baby B and Charlie all soaking up the love and attention today ❤️

Everyone was lined up for scratches, chats and cuddles, making sure they each got their turn. It’s always so sweet watching their different personalities come out when they feel safe and relaxed.

Some are gentle, some are cheeky, and some just want nonstop scratches… but they all melt your heart in their own way❤️🦘

A few joeys were out for a hop together this afternoon, and little Bluey decided he was tough enough to take on some of the bigger red kangaroos for a sparring match 😅🦘

From a distance it looked absolutely hilarious seeing this tiny little guy bouncing up to the big reds like he owned the place. Meanwhile, Comet spent the whole time trying to convince everyone to play… by annoying every other joey nonstop 😂

Bingo, TJ, Dexter, Bluey, Comet and the others were all having the best time out in the sanctuary. These little moments always make the long days worth it ❤️🦘
