Would like to remind everyone that in the Shire of Capel office you can find the Eco recycling bins for used v**e cartridges and batteries🔋
You can find these also in the Shire Library’s in Capel, Boyanup and Dalyellup.
Felt satisfying dropping our Mogg household used batteries in the bin today.

An honour to have participated in today’s
Capel RSL ANZAC DAY 2026 service, street March parade with my fellow CWA Capel Branch members and lay the wreath.

Today I marched in memory of my Father In-law Fred Mogg, who was a Queens Coldstream guard and involved the Suers Canal assignment 1950’s.
Our first ANZAC DAY with out him.

Especially significant today with the ANZAC DAY nationally theme being “Women in Service”.

So beautiful to see the War Memorial be fully covered in colourful wreaths representing so many groups and individuals.

Perfect weather for the wonderful service organised with poignant speeches, songs, poem read and lovely spread of food for the fellowship that followed afterwards.
Always a good community representation and spirit.
Thank you to the CAPEL RSL committee and those involved for organising another special commemorative event.

A wreath ready for ANZAC DAY tomorrow
Made myself and all foliage from my garden.
Pleased to be able to create and contribute.
The theme for 2026 ANZAC DAY nationally is
“Women in Service”

They shall grow old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
