Hi again 👋
It’s been a little quiet here…
After surgery, I’ve been taking the time to rest, heal, and just be.

Recovery has been slow, tender, and a bit messy — but I’m slowly finding my way back. Not all at once, not at full speed… just gently, in my own time. 💛

Even behind the scenes, A Future Without Pain has been quietly growing — and I’m so excited to start sharing more with you again.

There’s so much goodness ahead — beautiful donations, exciting updates, and powerful moments still to come. Thank you for sticking around. For the patience, the love, and the support, even during the quiet parts.

Yesterday was surgery day. Every inch of my body was nervous, unsure, anxious and worried about what was about to happen. The intent was to untangle my tubes from my uterus, which was attached to my bowel and hope that there was no bowel perforation, loss of tube or ovaries. 2 hours of surgery and 2 hours in recovery, on morphine, ketamine, endone, Panadol and anything you can get in a hospital to ease the pain. I woke to my surgeon telling me that it all went well, everything is now as it should be and there has been no damage or removal of any of my reproductive organs or holes in my bowel. The thought of all of this at 24 was overwhelming.
I FaceTimed Mum in tears, as it went better than we hoped and all I wanted was my Mum. She left work and was by my side. I am eternally grateful for Dr Micheal Shembray for his expertise and careful decisions he made while he undertook my complex surgery.
Hopefully going home today
