Yesterday morning at St Mary’s, 66 people were served breakfast, egg & bacon sandwiches , hot and cold drinks , and a moment of care.

If that number holds, it’s more than:
• 460 meals a week
• Nearly 2,000 meals a month
• Over 23,000 meals a year

But a meal is only part of the story.

Many people coming through are also navigating mental health challenges, needing material aid, managing ongoing health conditions, or living with complex and special needs.

This isn’t occasional support, it’s daily, layered demand.

At Bantu Housing, we recognise that housing solutions must go beyond a roof. They must respond to the full reality of people’s lives.

Because dignity isn’t one-dimensional and neither is the need.
