We wish to show a ton of gratitude for the kindness of the Geelong community for getting behind this program. It has proved valuable to preventing and saving lives over and over.

We are 100% volunteer run, we receive no funding or council support so to say we have grown & achieved so much with just community support is something that touches us. 🧡 Our beautiful friends Geelong Animal Rescue GAR Ltd have been a huge part of our success with their sponsorship. Thank you GAR 💙

We have very few overheads. No rent, no wages no vehicles. Social media is our “reach out” point as far as advertising goes and we appreciate the shares & likes our posts are given. 🧡🙌🏻

We do not have a DGR at this stage so we can not give tax receipts BUT we can give you the assurance 100% of your donation goes to changing the life of a cat in need of a desexing procedure and that your heart will feel warm knowing you have contributed to that. 🧡.

The cost of both the new logo & new website were paid for by our founder NOT from precious donations. We all believe in directing all donations to the program. That’s were our hearts are. The new brand & website have been a longtime coming and now they are here we wish to make it clear your donations are strictly only used for the program.

Prevention & Protection are key to developing a cat community that comes from ethical humane cat control through desexing. This program supports felines, their owners and all who live with or around them including our wildlife & environment.

The housing crisis is taking its toll on shelters and animal rescue. Surrenders are high and adoptions are slow. Shelters are offering heavily discounted adoptions to clear pens for others waiting for help. It is a very very stressful time. The pressure and emotion is huge.

Without Geelong having Desex July this year it has been incredibly hard to get through our waiting list. We have had to prioritise females and we still have 15 males and 10 females we MUST help desex. Our list grows each day. If we do not do this the consequences are going to be devastating. Cats and kittens are at so much risk and desexing CAN CHANGE SO MUCH FOR THEM.

Prevention is the key. Why would you not? Pouring preventable kittens on the pressure already felt is not helpful. We are here to help with desexing for you and we also need the help of the kind community who have always jumped in in such tough times.

August is dental month so appointments may not be as easy to get for desexing. We are going to do what we can and we must raise money to be able to hit September & October with full force. Please stand with us and support this plea to raise funds by sharing this post far and wide.
