National Reconciliation Week 2026
May 27 – June 3 | All In

The week marks two significant moments, the 1967 Referendum and the Mabo decision. These milestones are an important part of the journey toward recognising the rights and cultures of First Nations peoples.

This year’s theme, “All In,” highlights the role we can all play in reconciliation. It’s about continuing to learn, listening to First Nations voices, and being open to meaningful conversations in our everyday lives.

Reconciliation looks different for everyone, but it starts with a willingness to engage, reflect, and grow.

The theme for this year’s National Sorry Day is From Sorry to Action. The call is clear, we must move from words to action, and this needs to happen now, not in another decade.

Acknowledging past harm is important, but acting to address it is critical. Sorry signals compassion, action delivers justice.

We encourage you to mark National Sorry Day on 26 May, and to stand with us to ensure this day is part of an ongoing commitment to truth-telling and healing.

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and each one plays a vital role in our mental wellbeing 💚

This International Day of Families, we’re celebrating the care, connection and support families bring and the important role of parents and caregivers working together.

At headspace, we support families with practical tools and guidance to help young people navigate life’s ups and downs and keep communication open.

Because when families feel supported, young people do too.
