It was heartbreaking, seeing the deathly pallor of the Murray and Loddon Rivers, along with swirling dust storms during my travels in Victoria - to think of the beauty and abundance of life that has been destroyed in this country was too overwhelming for me at times. Especially knowing it doesn’t have to be this way. I’d turn up my tunes,
drive the k’s and commit myself to writing another story to help people awaken to new ways.
Today on it’s time to insist on food systems that uphold and replenish soil, water
and plants in Australia… and the world! It’s time to vote with your dollar and support farmers who regenerate the earth and your body.
Happy World Soil Day one and all. Soil is
sacred. Soil is life. Without it we’re dust.
