We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of our volunteer recruitment campaign, Join the Team in Green, for 2026!

We are calling on energetic and community-focused locals across regional South Australia to join SAAS – we want you on our team!

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. That's why our volunteer ambassadors will be promoting SAAS to their regions, and we are thrilled to introduce you to the 2026 ambassador team over the next few weeks.

SAAS newest recruit at just 10 weeks old 😍🚑

Im currently on maternity leave but im still able to attend trianings with my local team to keep up my skills and knowledge until I am back on the road.
Last night my little one joined in at the Port Macdonnell training as this term we focused on pregnancy, birth and newborns.

Anyone can be a SAAS volunteer even with a family at home ❤️ put your hand up now and help your local community 🙋‍♀️

Today we conducted a CPR refresher class at the Allendale Hall as they had there new AED installed.
Having an AED available for the community to use to help save lives is a great addition to Allendale.

Are you part of a sporting venue, hall, community group or more we are more then happy to provide a CPR class so that more people are confident in helping save a life. These classes are free and provided by qualified saas volunteers. Enquire today 🚑

Over 100 SAAS volunteers and paramedics recently gathered in Mount Gambier for a hands-on, action-packed conference featuring a Mass Casualty Training (MCI) exercise.

Together with CFS, SES, MFS, and SAPOL, teams responded the MCI involving a mock bus and car crash—complete with realistic injury makeup that had locals stopping to watch!

The event was a great opportunity to build skills, strengthen partnerships, and boost confidence in managing complex emergencies.

During the conference attendees also got a sneak peek at the upcoming ePCR system and its exciting potential for service delivery. 🚑

👏 Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen!
