We are so grateful to be collaborating with .o.v.e.perth 🩵 Boorloo is special as there’s many people who continue to care so much about music + connecting with people through dance!

The closing party is a thank you to the folks who’ve always been kind to us — to this ecosystem. Love to you Ben!

The event this Friday w/ headlining is a joyous celebration of the power of community and creativity.

What’s on this week .artspace ✨

reminded of this Assata Shakur thought -
“Part of being a revolutionary is creating a vision that is more humane. That is more fun; too. That is more loving. It’s really working to create something beautiful.”

All workshops and film screening speak to that joy and fun.

RECONNECT WITH BODILY WISDOM.

Joy persists when we tell stories. Be it in writing what is blissful, or in creating through grief and darkness. Joy can illuminate like the sun bearing down and burrowing into our skin, or it can peak through the cracks of our fingers as we shade sudden bursting lights from blinding us. To me, creating stories is The Joy.
Join this reading room session guided by a reading list, texts and prompts encouraging open discussions.

What you’ll need for this workshop: journal & pen.

RECONNECT WITH BODILY WISDOM.

Belonging, connectivity and how we make sense of the world ruptures and fractures across a lifetime. Embodiment invites us to reconnect with the body’s wisdom and generate a sense of safety so we can be fully present in the web of relation that includes ourselves, others, the environment, the societies we reside in, and the times we are flowing through. This workshop is an invitation to explore varying embodied practices including conversation, storytelling, visualisation, breathwork and movement. It is through these practices that we may cultivate a sense of belonging within and with those in our shared space.

What you’ll need for this workshop: a Yoga mat, journal, pen.
