The Young Soroptimists - Notre Dame The Young Soroptimists is a Notre Dame student club. Our group is open to anyone who believes in gender equality.

A group of passionate people working together to address gender inequality and improve the lives of women and those who identify as femme, non-binary or with feminine experiences globally 🌏 We aim to raise awareness about gender inequality by starting a conversation around uni about the issues that will inevitably affect all of us. Whether you would like to learn more about issues or start advocat

ing for changes in our society, this group is for you! The name Soroptimist was coined from the Latin soror meaning sister, and optima meaning best. Soroptimist is perhaps best interpreted as 'the best for women'.

* The Young Soroptimist's hold an inclusive definition of 'women' and encourage all those who identify as women, including trans, cis and non-binary individuals, to be involved. *
