This is not sustainable for the sector and a solution cannot wait. We need an urgent boost to funding to keep our communities connedted.

Today at our Hub program at Toora Primary School, artist Kim McDonald joined us for a special morning of creating with inks, brushes and paper! Both little ones and grown ups had a wonderful time! Thank you Kim!

What is The Hub at Toora Primary?

Manna Gum Community House is excited to host The Hub Program at Toora Primary School Gymnasium on Monday mornings 9.30am - 11.30am during the school term.

The Hub program is tailored to support parents and carers in our community. There is no cost to attend, and an onsite supervised playgroup is available for parents with preschoolers. All welcome!

• A place for families to socialise, support and engage with other parents and carers in the local community.
• It’s free
• It has a supervised playgroup for those with preschoolers.
• Morning tea & great company each week.
• Optional facilitated workshops during the term, guided by ideas from people who attend.
• No expectations for when you arrive or leave between 9.30am - 11.30am.

Introducing Repair Club, a new ongoing series of informal, hands on workshops in the safe use of tools. Trevor will cover techniques like drilling, cutting and joining, useful for metalwork, woodwork, jewellery, garden tool maintenance or general repairs. This special workshop will take place at Trevor Wheeler's studio/workshop, Sandy Point.

Everyone and every skill level is welcome. Bring along something you'd like to make or repair, or a project you've already started and need help finishing. BYO safety glasses, gloves and work clothes. More details on enrolment.
