BEST NEW BIKE DAY EVER!!! 🥳
We are so excited to take ownership of our very own Bowhead RX adaptive bike. This bike came about through grant money from Regional All Abilities Participation Grant Program plus a generous subsidy from Push Mobility who supplied the bike and handed it over to us today! This bike will be able to be hired from the club and will allow people to try the bike, test it for the purpose of NDIS funding, hire it when on holidays or if they can’t transport their own trike here, and so much more. Follow us for more updates and for how to request a booking in the future - coming soon! Big thanks to our club members Chris Midgley and Ashlee Morton for their input and insight into developing the grant application, as well as DEECA Victoria for their support. Thanks to Pete from Push and Paul van der Ploeg for taking the crew out for the maiden voyage today. Cracking day, cracking bike.

Come and ride Forrest! Planned burns happen in different places at different times, sometimes it’s our turn but at the moment Surf Coast are having theirs. Come here instead :) Isn’t is about time you ?

It's take 2 for the Eumeralla (Hurst Rd) planned burns. Conditions will be assessed tomorrow (Thurs May 14) and if suitable, the planned burn(s) will be undertaken. These may continue into Friday also. If planning to ride in the area tomorrow and the days follwoing, please follow all signage. Assuming they progress, we'll give updates as soon as we can about the extent and expected duration of closures.

What a ripper turnout of legends over the past few days!

A keen crew got in early yesterday before heading off to race elsewhere, giving “Caspers Access” a solid spruce-up. Then today, another bunch rolled in with a load of limestone and worked their magic fixing erosion along “Sideshow Alley”.

Even the DEECA crew have been spotted out and about, quietly chipping in and keeping things ticking over.

Right now the trails are in that perfect Goldilocks zone—just enough moisture to keep them tacky, grippy, and an absolute joy to ride.

Keep an eye out for the next maintenance day and come join the fun—good vibes, good people, and a cracking way to give back to the trails we all love.
