Forbes Children and Youth Hub FYAT also plan activities and projects that encourage young people's active engagement in their local communities including Youth Week.

Forbes Children and Youth Hub is designed to create a central, familyโ€‘friendly hub that keeps parents up to date with local opportunities, services and initiatives for children and young people. Forbes Youth Action Team (FYAT) is a group of young people aged 12-25 years who work in partnership with Forbes Shire Council to provide advice on decisions that affect their lives.

The YACC mural has grown! ๐ŸŽจ

There are now even more vibrant, quirky creatures on the exterior wall of the Forbes Youth & Community Centre, brought to life with the help of 15 local kids and mural artist James Oโ€™Hanlon.

From scribble grids to spray paint, the workshop gave young creatives a hands-on role in shaping the design, celebrating inclusion.
