Today, the Assyrian Australian Association Seniors Group enjoyed a beautiful social outing filled with friendship, laughter, connection, and fresh air. These gatherings are so important in bringing our seniors together, reducing isolation, strengthening wellbeing, and creating joyful memories within our community.

A special thank you and appreciation to our very own humble and wonderful woman, Marlin Shawool, for her kindness, dedication, and ongoing care in leading and supporting our seniors group with such compassion and commitment. Your warm spirit and generosity are truly valued by all.

We are proud to see our seniors enjoying life, staying connected, and continuing to inspire us with their strength, wisdom, and beautiful community spirit. ❤️

It was a pleasure attending the TAFE NSW Expo at Wetherill Park today representing the Assyrian Australian Association – Assyrian Resource Centre.

We had an excellent outcome, with so many students stopping by our stall, showing great interest, asking questions, and engaging with our services. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and curiosity from young people looking to build their future.

Thank you to TAFE NSW for hosting such a well-organised event and for bringing the community together. We look forward to continuing to support and connect with students on their journey.

🌺 ANZAC Day – 25 April 2026 🌺

It was an honour to attend the Cabravale Memorial Park ANZAC Day Service this morning, representing the Assyrian Australian Association, and standing alongside our community to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation.

Today, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and mateship of the ANZACs values that continue to unite and inspire us all.

We remember those who gave their lives, and we honour all who have served and continue to serve.

Lest we forget. 🌺
