South Coast Animal Advocates

South Coast Animal Advocates We advocate for all animals. The South Coast name refers to our location in NSW. We also want to see live export ended.

There are many atrocities that we humans inflict on innocent animals on a daily basis, and many of these are animals that are bred and raised for food in factory or industrial farms. We aim to raise awareness and share the truth, as it is only through exposure, pressure and legislation that many of these vile acts and industries will be stopped. We hope you will follow us and help make a differenc

e for the billions of animals around our country and planet who are suffering day in, day out....day in, day out....until they are then sent to the slaughter house. The buying public should be able to make an informed choice about their food purchases, as those choices determine the system of production they are supporting by buying and consuming that food. Factory farming companies spend a lot of money on security and misleading advertising to keep their methods secret from the general public, so it is not widely known how shocking the conditions are for the majority of chickens, turkeys, pigs, cows, calves, ducks, geese and rabbits. Together we can make our voices heard by those who can influence change. If you are interested in making the ultimate compassionate decision for animals, you could look at our VEG page:

Some dairy truths shared by ex-dairy farmers...

At work yesterday I was chatting to one of my oldest and my one of my favourite customers. She told me all about her past running a dairy farm with her husband in Kyabram. She shook her head as she said, "It was a terrible thing watching the calves be taken away as the mother's desperately tried to go after them. They grieved and called for days. When the Deadman (what her and her children called the abattoir man) came to collect the cows that weren't good anymore, they just knew. They knew they were going to be killed. It's a cruel life on a farm"
