Today, let's fold our hands, close our eyes,
and whisper a prayer for a world at ease.
For peace to blanket every troubled land,
where fear now reigns, a chilling breeze.

Let's pray for ceasefires, for silenced guns,
for an end to the relentless, brutal strife.
For every soul caught in the crossfire's dance,
each precious, fragile, fleeting life.

We'll pray for shattered homes rebuilt,
for families reunited, safe, and sound.
It's ordinary people who bear the brunt,
while power brokers stake their claim on ground.

Let's pray for strength and hope to rise,
above the ashes, dark and cold.
Let kindness bloom where hatred festers deep,
a story of compassion to be told.

Let's stand together, hand in hand,
a symphony of voices, strong and clear.
Let's choose to live in harmony and grace,
and banish conflict, year after year.
