Our next Emerald Lions Club Market is this Sunday the 3rd of May 8am-12noon, under the Sunflowers in Morton Park. Come along and grab a Mothers Day gift.
We will be there with Bacon and Egg Burgers and a Sausage Sizzle, as well as Sausage Rolls and Pies and cold drinks, so come and see us.

Our District Zone meeting in Emerald on Sunday was an occasion filled with recognition, celebration, and pride in our Lions community.
A highlight of the meeting was when First Vice District Governor Murray Wegner had the honour of presenting Lion Kevin Bickhoff with his remarkable 50-Year Monarch Award — an incredible milestone reflecting decades of dedicated service.
Zone Chairman Jenny Hooper also took the stage to recognise several outstanding members. Lion Debbie Shields was celebrated for her 40-Year Monarch Award, while Lion Robert Cotterell received his 10-Year Monarch Award, marking his valuable contribution to the club.
Adding to the celebrations, Lion Jenny proudly presented the Bluff Lions Club with the Lion Hunter Magazine Article of the Month Award, recognising their efforts in sharing and promoting the spirit of Lionism.
It was an inspiring meeting that showcased the commitment, achievements, and strong community spirit within our Lions family, and how to grow our community impact in the future.

A Heartfelt congratulations to local student Grace Hand who was our Regional Youth Of the Year winner on Saturday 7th March.

She will now go onto the district finals in Hervey Bay on the 18th April.
Grace with our club President Debbie Shields and Hayley Hogan who was one of the judges.
