Container of Hope

Container of Hope Our purpose is to send 40’ shipping containers full of donated and recycled goods to assist those less fortunate than ourselves.

We seek to bridge the gap between needy communities overseas with communities here who have too much. We work in partnership with sponsors who are usually a part of an organisation in Australia or overseas that has a contact with an overseas project who are in need of items, either for the project or to distribute to a community in need. Forming the basis of all our work are 3 Cornerstone Principl

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE from the Board of CONTAINER OF HOPE :

A lot has happened over the past two months.

Unfortunately, Christopher has resigned from the board due to ongoing health issues. Please keep Christopher and Kerrie in your prayers during his time of healing and rest. The board has met and agreed that Kym will be acting chair in the interim.

On a positive note, COH has secured a temporary site at Waterloo Corner for the next 12 months, and we have successfully relocated our shipping containers and equipment there. As we settle into our new location, we are reviewing our operations because we currently do not have the facilities needed to process donated goods.

For this reason, we will be pausing the acceptance of donations until further notice.

As you would be aware Container of Hope Inc has to move to a interim site so over the month of January
So COH will be working six days a week to dismantle our site and move to an interim site.
Opening will be dependent on weather conditions.
If you are able to help, please contact the Board member below to advise of your attendance.

Container of Hope Inc. will be closed for the Christmas and New Year break until Sunday, 5 January 2026.
We plan to reopen from Monday, 6 January 2026, operating Monday to Friday, weather permitting, as dismantling and relocation activities continue.
