We have something super special to share - our official 2026 event video!

Our 2026 theme was The Gathering Grounds - like a waterhole where many paths meet, Conquer became a place where people arrived from different locations, carrying different experiences and stories, and found a shared space to pause, reconnect and support one another.

There were many moments that brought the theme to life; conversations beside the road, encouragement between walkers, laughter and shared meals at rest stops, children and families enjoying the activities at Conquer HQ, and quieter moments of reflection at the Support and Honour Wall.

This theme also reminds us that strength is not only found in pushing forward. It can be found in returning to community, accepting support, listening without judgment and making room for others. Sometimes healing begins through a significant conversation; at other times, it is found is a shared laugh, a quiet check-in, a lift on a bus, a meal prepared with care, or the simple comfort of walking beside someone.

Behind every one of those moments was the support of the organisations, businesses and individuals who provided the foundations that allowed the event to happen. Just as many streams sustain a waterhole, every contribution - large or small, financial or in kind - help create an event that is safe, welcoming, free and accessible. We are deeply grateful to every one of our 2026 sponsors and supported who helped make it a lived experience of belonging, care, and community.

To the walkers, volunteers, organisers and supporters — we’re thinking of you and wishing you a wonderful weekend of connection, meaningful conversations and remembering loved ones.

Different stretches of road, but the same heartfelt purpose. We’re with you in spirit as you walk as one. 🧡

Kicking off Queensland Mental Health Week the right way, with community, connection and wellbeing support. 🚶🤝

This weekend, more than 100 people are taking part in the 12th annual Conquer The Corrugations walk in Cape York Peninsula, covering 46 kilometres over two days.

We have been a proud supporter of the event since it began. Clinicians from our Far North Mental Health and Wellbeing Service wear their brightest colours, walking and talking with everyone along the way and offering a safe space for sharing and powerful healing conversations.

Every step is an opportunity to remember loved ones lost, connect with others who understand, catch up with old friends or make new connections.

Above all, it’s a reminder that no one has to walk alone, and that we are stronger when we ‘walk as one’. 💙

RELIVING THE MAGIC OF EA CONQUER 2026 😍

How incredibly lucky were we to have Captured with Mon sponsor Conquer this year and capture our weekend so beautifully 🥹

Mon was there with us from Friday afternoon right through until Sunday evening — experiencing the whole Conquer weekend alongside us and capturing all the little moments that make it so special. And we were doubly lucky that Soph came along with her too! 🙌

Going through these photos and getting to relive what genuinely felt like the best weekend ever has been pretty special. 💜 From Conquer HQ coming to life, to the walkers, runners, volunteers, rest stops, kids, laughs, hugs and everything in between — they captured the magic of Conquer so perfectly.

Ask the question. Make time to listen. Encourage support when it’s needed. And check in again.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes simply being there and starting a conversation can make a difference.

371 PEOPLE. TWO DAYS. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY. 💜🧡

East Arnhem… what a weekend.

371 people joined us across the two days of the 2026 East Arnhem Conquer the Corrugations Mental Health Awareness Walk — including around 20 runners who took on Day 1.

That officially makes this the BIGGEST Conquer the Corrugations event ever held — anywhere. 🥹🙌

It’s a number we’re incredibly proud of. But Conquer has never really been about numbers.

It’s about the people behind them.

It’s 371 people choosing to show up. To walk — or run — beside one another. To start conversations about mental health. To remember those we’ve lost. To support those going through their own corrugations. And to remind each other that none of us has to travel the rough patches alone.

Over two days, we watched friends walk together, families walk together, kids take on kilometres that would challenge plenty of adults, runners push themselves along the red dirt, strangers become mates, and our community cheer each other all the way home.

And then we gathered. Surrounded by the messages, stories and people that make this event what it is, we were reminded exactly why Conquer exists.

There are so many people behind a weekend like this — our volunteers, sponsors, supporters, Conquer Crew committee, Conquer Cats, local businesses and organisations, and every person who gave their time, equipment, services, food, vehicles, hands or heart to make it happen. Thank you. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

And to every single one of the 371 people who joined us…

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for walking.

Thank you for running.

Thank you for talking.

Thank you for listening.

And thank you for looking out for the person beside you.

East Arnhem, you’ve once again shown what can happen when a community comes together.

We conquered the corrugations together.

🚨 WALKERS — STILL NEED TO REGISTER? 🚨

We’re almost there! 💙

If you’re joining us tomorrow and haven’t completed your registration yet, please make sure you arrive early and register before the walk begins.

📍 Registration opens from 7:30am at the Scout Camp turn-off – starting point.

We still have a number of registrations outstanding, so please allow yourself plenty of time to get checked in and ready to go.

Completing your registration is important and helps us make sure everyone taking part is accounted for and ready for a safe weekend on the road.

Then it’s time to Conquer the Corrugations! 💙👟

If you’ve registered, you should have received your Welcome Letter. This contains everything you need to know for the weekend, including the itinerary, important event information, camp layouts, contact details and FAQs.

✨ Photo Wall ✨
Please remember to bring something for our Support and Honour Wall. 💙

It could be a photo of a loved one lost, someone you’re walking in support of, your family or even yourself. It doesn’t have to be a photo either — you’re welcome to bring a shirt or another piece of memorabilia that is meaningful to you.

If bringing something precious, particularly a photo, please bring a copy rather than the original. The wall will be exposed to the elements and we’d hate for anything special to be damaged.

All event merch, including caps, work shirts and remaining pre-order collections, will be available from Conquer HQ (Latram) from 4pm Friday.

First in, best dressed — no holds, sorry!

✨ Best Dressed ✨
Don’t forget, there will be awards for Best Dressed Team and Male and Female, for both adults and juniors! The louder and brighter, the better! 🌈🎉

A FREE tutu-making tent will also be set up at Conquer HQ on Friday evening for anyone wanting to add a little something extra to their outfit.

❌❌ NOT PERMITTED ❌❌

🚫 DOGS — Dogs are not permitted on the walk or at Conquer HQ, except for assistance animals.

🚫 ALCOHOL — Alcohol is not permitted while walking. It is permitted at Conquer HQ for those with a valid alcohol permit.

🚫 QUAD BIKES, MOTORBIKES OR PUSH BIKES — These are not permitted on the walk or within the campgrounds, for the safety of participants and to prevent damage to parked vehicles.

🚫 PARTIES OR LOUD NOISE — Please be respectful of everyone staying at Conquer HQ and the campsites. A 10pm noise curfew applies each night.

💙 Please take a few minutes to read through your Welcome Letter before the weekend. We can’t wait to see everyone at Conquer HQ and get Conquer the Corrugations underway!
