Yep..... it might be June and the beach is now a dream.....

But you can find us Wednesday nights at the next best thing..... the PUB!

From 6.30pm we will be down at the Jolly doing meat trays as we raise money for Variety Qld!

This right here is one of the reasons we do what we do and to see our local Primary School receive benefits from our hard work, just makes it all worth it!

So many kids are starting their day hungry which heavily impacts their ability to focus and learn. Through grants like those available with Variety Qld, schools are able to offer our kids a nutritious start to their day with breakfast clubs, so they are able to grow and learn with their best foot forward!

You just never know where we pop up!!

Last night we were up at the footy club on the gate and doing meat trays to support our Senior League at one of their big games for the Season!

As you know, small communities run on volunteers. And each group supports the others at big events. That’s just how it is!

When you live in a small community surrounded by big industry, it’s important that those industries are part of the community.

We can’t say thank you enough to BMA Team Saraji for their continual contributions to Dysart. To us, this support has been through lending us large gazebos for race day, volunteer labour, financial assistance with gift cards for raffle prizes and most importantly, moral support through their workforce. This small contribution may be minuscule in the large scheme of things but to this small team it means everything.

Their support as we raise funds for Variety Qld just goes to show that even small things can create a difference.

To us, that’s big!

We can't say thank you enough to everyone who has come on this journey with us during our 2026 campaign.
All our hard work and with the generous support of our community, we have raised just over $40,000 so far for Variety Qld and we're not stopping just yet. With the Bash itself heading off in August, we have a little more time to raise a little more $$$ for deserving kids in Qld.

So, thank you, for helping us to help them!

Yep..... this is all them feels......

Find us every Wednesday night from 6.30pm at the Jolly Collier Hotel peddling off our meat tray tickets and putting in the hard yards for Variety Qld as they support our disadvantaged kids of this great state.....

You just never know.... Wednesday night could just be your lucky night!

Winners are grinners!!

Photo dump from yesterday’s pig races (thanks to Carl and Jess) and as you can tell, it was a cracker of a day! Warm, big blue skies and punters keen on a win!

Figures are still a little rough, but we’re looking at roughly $18,000 raised for Variety Qld! WOW!! What fantastic support we receive from a small community and our surrounding region…. Very humbling….

All the money raised from yesterday’s races goes towards helping Variety support kids across Qld who experience disadvantage after our mainstream services have let them slip through the cracks… so…. THANK YOU for helping us to help them!
