The Busselton VIEW club is excited to announce the return of our Sustainable Fashion Show on Thursday 20th August at Tonic By The Bay . Come and see our members strut their stuff on the catwalk, dressed in fashions and accessories supplied by the ladies from Busselton Vinnies WA who will also provide commentary on the outfits being modelled. After the show you will be able to shop for your next outfit from the “Vinnies” racks. Guests are welcome and will be charged a $10 entry fee which will donated to the Smith Family. Please arrive at 10am so you can purchase your coffee and morning nibbles and be ready for a 10:30 start. This was a hoot last year so be sure not to miss out on the fun!

As a valued part of The Smith Family, VIEW members help to change the lives of young Australians in need through fundraising, volunteering, advocating and sponsoring disadvantaged students on The Smith Family's Learning for Life program.

Maryanne spoke on the growth and development of VIEW the past 65 years and its ethos “Making Connections Makes a Difference”.
Lorraine spoke of her experience as National President and the joy of knowing the change that VIEW’s work has brought to so many.

At our June meeting we welcomed Guest Speaker David John.

David is an Exercise Physiologist with decades of experience working with athletes at the highest levels in their disciplines. David explained that exercise physiology focuses on cellular health and particularly the role oxygen plays in delivering energy to our bodies. Efficient cells help us to live longer, age better and heal faster. Additionally David explained the importance of nutrition…in particular, our intake of carbohydrates and fats.

We’re very fortunate to have Dunsborough Exercise Physiology and David’s expertise in our community.
