We have had another satifying month, meaning we have made some good stuff, fixed some good old things, and had a good old time to boot!

Thanks to the following shops for hosting/displaying our products.
Playfish on Forbes Road
Latrobe's Top Shop in Gilbert Street
Hill Street Gift Shop
The Paranaple Arts Centre

Check out the following pieces created by drawing and combining various wood types to project very attractive images of Australian native animals.
We are selling these from $20 and can be ordered from the above shops or by a message to any of our Facebook or Web Page Addresses.
We are also happy to create almost any type of wooden item, eg Bird Houses, Bee Rests, Serving Platters, House or Room Signs etc.
Or if you have something in mind, just get in touch....

It has been a great start to winter at the shed. Members have not been put off by the cold, sometimes wet & rainy weather. Below there are a few pictures of our boys at work and play.
Also some great products made by our ladies who almost make their wednesday a party day!
There is a picture below that shows how much we enjoy our periodic committee meetings.
Roger, our president, also mentions that we have not only enjoyed our last month, but we have been quite productive as well.

The Devonport Mens Shed has enjoyed another fruitful month and is now warming up for the grey days of winter. There are a few pictures below of our members at work and play.
To remember our members who have passed on, we have decided to create a "board" listing these men in order. See picture below.
Unfortunately, we are not provided with a recycle bin since we are not a purely residential address. So we have to make do with other, often unsuitable, means. But we do nicely cater for handling bottles and cans; see picture of our 44 gallon drums whose contents we regularly take to our recycle centre.
Also check out the laser creation pictures below; these items have been manufactured by Kev and our other Laser Engraver experts. We looking to sell these for about $25. Also we are happy to look at making any design that our folk in our community might desire.

Another interesting week at the Shed!
Sometimes it's hard to find the right bit of timber, but plenty of advisors available!?
Our Treasurer showing us how to count our money.
Also great work is being done by our expert Laser Engraver chappies.
Great example shown by Kev of a Kangaroo speeding along; simply a few nice timbers embedded in an old fence paling!
Also we had a significant donation of various paints by Cabots. Thanks heaps to them!

Wednesdays are Womens Day at the Devonport Shed.
It is very impressive how much these ladies do on just the one day. They have some good times and make some great and interesting products as can be seen in these pictures!

The Good Ole Boys of the Devonport Mens Shed have had a busy and rewarding month. So for the last thursday of each month we reward ourselves with a barbeque and the odd beer.
Thanks to members Graeme Sargeant & Ben Pocious for preparing this months feast.
