Deniliquin CWA is proud to support the women, children, and families of our region not only through fundraising and community events, but also through meaningful advocacy on issues that impact our future.
As part of this commitment, we have formally submitted a response to the 2026 Murray-Darling Basin Plan Review Discussion Paper, contributing our region’s perspective to an important national conversation.
Our submission focuses on the social and economic impacts of water recovery and buyback policies on southern Basin communities, while offering practical recommendations for balanced outcomes.
We sincerely thank our Advocacy Lead, Zara Graham, for her exceptional work, along with our contributing members and Robbie Sefton for their valued support.
This work reflects the active and progressive role our branch plays in supporting our community.
