What an amazing effort! Students from Daylesford College have taken on the job of installing the Blue Tree at Victoria Park in Daylesford.
It proved to be a great opportunity for some hands on learning and problem solving and the students should be proud of the superb final result.
We cannot thank the students and staff from Daylesford College enough!
This tree is generously donated by the Daylesford Football and Netball Club and is a wonderful example of the local community coming together to start conversations about mental health and su***de awareness.

Another Blue Tree installed in Glenlyon at the Recreation Reserve.
This location is so peaceful and calm, a lovely spot to stop and reset.

Many thanks to Daylesford Rotary for donating this tree and the Glenlyon Recreation Reserve Committee for their unwavering support and commitment to have a tree in Glenlyon.

What a milestone! We are so proud that our shire now has them dotted throughout 💙💙💙💙💙

We're celebrating a milestone for the books and it's genuinely all thanks to you for rolling up your sleeves! 🙌

Over the last 7 years, blue trees big and small have been popping up all over the world and today we tick over to 1,600 blue trees!

Thank you for your incredible support, we are so lucky to have such a supportive community kickin' the stigma of mental health by our side.

Not sure what the blue trees mean? Brush up on our website.

Another tree in another great location! This one can be found at the Spings Medical Centre in Daylesford. A gentle reminder as you walk through the door that maybe you should have a mental health conversation with your GP while you’re there.
Springs Medical in Kyneton and Trentham will also have trees in the near future!

It is Chillout weekend in Daylesford and surrounds! Remember that even when there is fun and enjoyment around you it is ok to feel differently. To feel low, flat, emotional and exhausted. Remember to look after yourself, you are not alone and most importantly reach out and seek professional help if it feels like too much. We also hope that the blue trees will provide reminders to check in on yourself and also check in on others around you, call your mates who didnt come this weekend and check in on them!

We are beyond proud of Pauline who was inducted into the Heather Mutimer Women’s Honour Roll last week for her work bringing awareness to mental health and su***de in the Hepburn Shire and founding Call Your Mates.
It is never easy but Pauline spoke candidly about the loss of her identical twin sister Michelle to su***de, how that sparked an idea which then snowballed into Call Your Mates.
Pauline also spoke about the impact Call Your Mates has that we cannot measure; the stories that are shared with us about someone who was feeling low but saw a cap and realised they had mates to call, someone who parked under a blue tree and called their mates to check on them.
This is the ongoing impact the trees and the movement have, and what inspires us to keep going! đź’™

We’re proud to share that Call Your Mates will be hosting a fundraiser at the Daylesford Hotel over the next two Fridays • December 12th and 19th.

All money raised will go directly towards providing Mental Health First Aid courses (one to two day training) for our local community groups and clubs.
These groups and clubs are the backbone of our towns, and giving their members the skills to support each other is something that benefits us all.

Keep an eye out next week for registrations and expressions of interest on our website.. Each club will be able to nominate a representative to complete the training.

Our aim is to have course dates locked in for the New Year so we can start 2026 strong, supported, and more connected than ever.

It’s FINALLY been installed! 💙🌳
We are beyond excited to see the Daylesford Blue Tree come to life today.

A massive thank you to David from Overwrought for creating all the stunning metal Blue Trees you’ll spot around the Hepburn Shire — and to The Saw Good Company and Hepburn Shire for installing this one in the best possible spot.

This tree is more than just a piece of art — it’s a visual reminder to check in on your mates, your family, and yourself.
It’s here to spark real conversations about mental health, to honour those we’ve lost, and to remind us that it’s always okay to reach out for help. 💙

It’s HERE 💙🌳
Creswick’s very own Blue Tree has been installed!

This tree stands as a visual reminder to check in, on your friends, your family, and yourself. 💙 It’s here to spark honest conversations about mental health, to honour those we’ve lost, and to remind us that it’s always okay to speak up and reach out for help.

Call Your Mates Hepburn are so proud to help bring The Blue tree projects to the Hepburn Shire, a big thank you to Creswick Railway and Hepburn Shire for installing the tree in such a special, visible spot..
