What should you do if you meet someone experiencing homelessness in Woollahra?
Stefan from Missionbeat - one of the organisations we work with to help provide outreach, crisis support, accommodation and long-term housing - has some tips.
At the end of the day, it's important to lead with respect, care and compassion. We are committed to working with support agencies and the police to protect everyone’s health, wellbeing and safety.
Together we can foster a compassionate, supportive community where everyone feels seen and supported.

Council will act when a person requests assistance, appears distressed or in need of help, is behaving in a way that threatens their safety or the safety of others, or if they are preventing us from regular service provision. 📞You can contact us via the Woollahra Council App if you need our help.
A friendly smile 🙂, or a cold drink on hot days 🥤 and a coffee or tea in winter ☕️ can go a long way to making someone’s day.
