It is run by a community group of volunteers and is available to use.

Aggie's Cottage is a volunteer run group and sometimes it takes us a little while to get through our list of jobs....but we always get there in the end! So thanks to the success of the Aggie's Cottage Long Table Lunch in September last year, our little group has been able to donate $10,000 to Magnolia House, a centre for women's safety and wellbeing in Northam, via its funding body Share & Care Community Service Group. Congratulations to everyone who attended, sponsored or volunteered- you have all helped deliver this financial support to help women in our region who use these much needed safety services.

On Saturday 21 September, 216 women gathered at Aggie’s Cottage for the 2024 Wheatbelt Ladies Long Table Lunch. With the help of our generous sponsors – Iluka, , .electricalservices, , Tilt Renewables, , Kayanaba Grazing, Club Cervantes – the event raised more than $23,000.
Also big thanks to our auction sponsors and cash sponsors - Richie Bros, Lobster Shack, Scene Brewery, CNC Fire Pit & Metal Art, Yathroo Grazing, Dandaragan Organic Beef, Di Brown, Dandaragan Mechanical Services, Jurien Bay Pharmacy and .
Half of the profits from the event will go to support emergency refuge accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence, specifically at Magnolia Women’s Centre in Northam and their sister house, Rainbow House, in Narrogin.
The remaining funds will go toward the continued restoration of of Dandaragan's unique heritage site Aggie’s Cottage.
The day included a sit-down, three-course meal, inspiring talks from three fantastic speakers, acoustic entertainment, and a boutique shopping experience. The perfect weather added to the charm of a long table lunch by the lake.

Wow - what an amazing day we had for the 2024 Wheatbelt Ladies Long Table Lunch! More than 200 women from across the region converged on Aggies Cottage in Dandaragan for a beautiful day of connection, fun and inspiration. We have lots of photos to share soon and will update with total funds raised but for now here is little snippet from the day - Tash Rigby sharing her learnings from her time as Perth Glory A-League Women’s captain.

All proceeds will go between Magnolia House and the Wolba Wolba Heritage Committee.
