Looking for a welcoming dance class?

Join MADE (Mature Artists Dance Experience) for a new term of dance, movement and connection!

Classes are held weekly in Cygnet, Kingston, Devonport, South Hobart, Mount Stuart, Lindisfarne and New Town.

Whether you've danced before or you're taking your very first class, MADE offers a welcoming and supportive environment where adults of all ages can improve their wellbeing, explore creativity and experience the joy of movement.

Life Drawing Sketch Club.
This is a Cygnet Community Arts Council (CCAC) event being run by a new HAEG member Simon Tomkinson.
When: Every Monday from 2nd March 3.30pm-5.30pm
Where: The Supper Room, Cygnet Town Hall
Cost: $20 cash or tap
What to bring: your own art materials. There are limited easels, donkeys, boards available.

Hobart Opportunity
If you know a young person in Hobart who is always cracking jokes, you’ll want to get this on their radar! Class Clowns is returning to The YARC (Youth Arts & Recreation Centre) on Friday, 20 March, and it’s a fantastic (and completely free) opportunity for teens to dive into the world of comedy.

Whether they are interested in stand-up, sketch writing, or just want to build some confidence, they can join a free workshop at 4PM to develop material alongside a professional comedian. It all leads up to a free showcase at 6PM. Young people who are interested in the next step, could then win a chance to perform at Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
