Sophie is a 4th year physiotherapy student at Charles Sturt University. Sophie has been involved with CEF Coolah since our inaugural year in 2024. Clinical placements are a huge financial cost for rural students and Sophie has five to do this year. She is pictured here at her Mudgee placement which commenced at the end of January. We are thrilled that we can assist with some of those costs through our educational grants. When you donate to CEF Coolah, your support makes a huge difference to students like Sophie.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended our fundraising lunch, purchased raffle or 100 club tickets, or gave us a donation. We are so blessed to live in such a supportive community. All funds raised will be given to local students who have left school, through our educational grants in 2026.

Thank you so much to all those people from our amazing Coolah community who purchased raffle tickets from us yesterday and two weeks previous. It is not too late to win some of these amazing prizes. Just scan the QR code in the picture, type in the amount you want to spend and we will write out your tickets and send you confirmation that they are done. Raffle is drawn at our Melbourne Cup Lunch.

If you're aged between 16-25, living in the Coolah district, finished your schooling at Coolah Central School, and need a financial boost to make your education and career dreams happen, you should apply for a CEF Coolah grant today!

What a fabulous way to support Coolah CEF and enjoy Melbourne Cup Day at Coolah Creek. You will be treated to a sumptuous lunch in the beautiful Coolah Creek Garden while helping us support local students with their post-school educational costs. CEF Coolah 2025 Educational Grant Recipient Kiesha has just returned from competing at the UniSport National Women's Rugby Sevens carnival on the Gold Coast. Kiesha was representing the University of New England and is pictured here with her coach and a fellow Duval College team mate. As well as smashing her first year of Uni academically, Kiesha has been extremely active, playing both Netball and Rugby in Armidale. For 2026 Kiesha has been elected President of Duval netball and no doubt will continue to play Rugby Union for the Armidale Blues. Congratulations on all your achievements this year Kiesha. CEF Coolah is so proud of you.
