Brian Dowd (The Walkabout Barber) is bringing his mobile barber shop and wellbeing initiative to Coffs Harbour on 24–25 June 2026, and Waagay Biliinyjarl are now taking bookings for FREE haircuts and beauty treatments on both days.
📅 Wednesday 24 June — Wongala Estate 📅 Thursday 25 June — Coffs Harbour Pavilion, Coffs Showground ⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
What’s on: ✨ FREE Hair Cuts; FREE Beauty Treats; FREE Feed; Community services, cultural supports, health, housing, employment, legal help, youth & family services, and more. This is a safe, welcoming space for yarns, connection, and support for our mob and the wider community.
How to book: Message Waagay Biliinyjarl on Facebook to reserve your spot for a haircut or beauty treatment, or contact the organisers via their usual channels. No cost to attend or host a stall — everyone welcome.

There’s something powerful about being On Country. 🌿
Our Men’s Day On Country with the Garby Elders was a deadly day of connection, culture, sharing knowledge and strengthening relationships. Spending time together, listening to stories, respecting our Elders and caring for Country reminds us how important these spaces are for our men and community.
Strong culture builds strong people. Strong people build strong communities.
Big thanks to everyone who came along and shared the day with us. 🖤💛❤️
