2025 and 2026 saw a considerable amount of challenge across much of Cape York Peninsula with Ex-Tropical Cyclone Jasper and Narelle plus considerable fires through the dry seasons. We recognise adversity comes to us in many different ways and what gets us through is resilience, adaptability and taking one step in front of the other.. often with a herd behind you. This year’s theme is the Cape York Peninsula cattle theme. They reflect all the fundamental strengths we need when faced with life’s challenges, and are relevant seeing as though we walk through country where cattle have roamed for generations. 🐂

Day 2 ~ Archer River Roadhouse to 28 Mile Lagoon

You are invited to arrive Friday and leave Monday..

Afternoon and evening activities will take place.
First Aid support all weekend.

Camping available at 28 Mile Lagoon (19km south of Archer River).

Planning will soon begin for the Cape York Peninsula Conquer the Corrugations Walk happening on October 3rd & 4th ~ only 5 months away!

To everyone who has participated in one or more of our annual walks, Queensland Day nominations are open for organisations to be recognised for their contribution to the community.
