We are live! You can now bid on this stunning painting until 5pm Sunday, with the highest bidder winning.

Many people ask how they can support this event and we have donations capped at $50. Perhaps instead consider bidding on this beauty? The $ raised above $400 will go back into the event.

A little about the painting..
Local Cape York Peninsula artist, Ashleigh Fitzgerald invested considerable time and effort to capture the Brahman magic in this stunning oil painting called 'Country Strong', on canvas (50cm x 60cm).

Two elegant white Brahman cattle pause at the water’s edge, their reflections rippling beneath them. This beautiful painting captures a quiet moment of connection between these graceful animals and the land they call home. It is a gentle celebration of rural life and the timeless spirit of the outback.

Conquer the Corrugations purchased this art for a generous rate of $400 and are inviting you to now bid so it can be yours.

Hello Conquerers, we hope muscles and feet are recovering and the unpacking has been smooth.

A few things-

👣 Sponsors - thank you again for your kind contribution. We work with a small regular group of sponsors who consistently support the weekend - this is why the weekend is free and able to provide everything, so participants can appreciate the essence and meaning behind the event. 💜

👣 Shirts and Shorts - these will be mailed today if you have purchased merch online. Weipa peeps, yours will be in Weipa today for collection. (More info to follow). 🧡

👣 Brahman Painting ⤵️⤵️ - we ran out of time to do something special with the beautiful painting by Ash. Many people ask to donate (which we limit to $50) and a few have said they would love to buy the painting so we will run an online auction with the painting. We will open the auction on Friday at 12pm and run it over the weekend. Watch this space! 💜

👣 Conquer 2027 will be weekend of the 2nd/3rd October which is the long weekend again. It’s always going to be that weekend, so lock it in. 🤍

Thank you again to everyone who played a part. It was an incredibly special weekend. 🧡🤍💜

Next weekend is Conquer weekend. Over the last 2 weeks we’ve had many people reach out apologising for no longer being able to attend or help.

Every year the Conquer Crew will show up and pull together this meaningful weekend, and should ‘life’ mean you can’t attend or you don’t want to attend, please know that we never pass judgement nor is there any expectation.

Conquer is a wonderful community event thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors and we support you whether you attend or not.

The weekend is not about how many people attend.

It is not about people feeling obligated.

It’s a weekend of love, compassion, kindness and support. This is the non-negotiable whether you attend or not. 🧡

We send lots of love to our followers who are doing it tough and we send strength to those of you who might need it. 🤍 If we see you, we see you. If we don’t, then big love for whatever else you’re doing next weekend.

Conquer will Conquer every single year.. and there is always the next year… 💜

Conquerors! Hi! 👋🏽

Planning will soon begin for the Cape York Peninsula Conquer the Corrugations Walk happening on October 3rd & 4th ~ only 5 months away!

To everyone who has participated in one or more of our annual walks, Queensland Day nominations are open for organisations to be recognised for their contribution to the community.

Behind this weekend is a committed team working hard to raise awareness around mental health across our region. We’d love your support by clicking the link below and nominating our little local organisation. 💜

Thank you 🧡
