On Sunday 16th November 2025 we held our Residents Christmas Party.
Beautifully catered by resident Pauline Hunter and her Daughter Narelle Kriz, we were served a tasty array of cold meat and salads, with the Mandarin Salad being a tasty requested edition from last years party.
Dessert was a mouth watering array of tasty treats, with Residents even able to take a "doggy bag" home as their present to enjoy the next day.
Narelle was assisted in the Kitchen by Volunteers Charlotte Orr and Charlotte Knight from Cobar High School.
The beautiful decorations put together by Pauline and Narelle were from Anni's Arts and Crafts, with the generous and lovely Anni even loaning some to bring Pauline's vision together.
We were so pleased that after the Residents and Invited Guests sang Carols for their supper, they were then able to eat it from the crockery (and glasses), that we were blessed to receive in time from a grant bestowed upon us from The Intermine Golf Challenge.
Residents also enjoyed the Residents Christmas Round up, Individual Poems created for them by Pauline Hunter.
Secretary Samantha Smith delivered an address on behalf of the Committee to wish our Residents a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year, to thank and acknowledge the amazing generosity of the organisations that have given us grants this year and to voice our fervent wish, that we all may be present next year to celebrate with our Brennan Centre Family again.
