Sharing my Christmas with you We invite you to be a part of Sharing my Christmas with you. How can you get involved? Firstly with donations and secondly with distribution.

We will create gift boxes with the donations, we ask you take a box for a family (in need) & deliver to them.

Sharing an important 2 min message with you all , as we wrap up our ‘Sharing My Christmas with you.’

This project truly has been so special and it has been a Christmas we will not forget.

The kindness , the generosity, the people , the phone calls , the connections. And the families that we may never meet in person, but they have been touched by this project ~ and that’s truly incredible.

Over the month of December we are so grateful to report that we created 100 gift bags, filled with Groceries, Personal Items, Toys, Treats and More.

We have been blown away by the community spirit, the locals & businesses who donated so generously.

We were pleased to share that every gift bag was given out before Christmas Eve.
These messages - thank you Notes and Cards really touched our hearts - I hope they touch yours too.

As we sign off this project for now - we are grateful for what has been, and look forward to what may come in the future.

Santa’s busy Elves have been in at the Pedal Shed tonight, delivering some gift bags to some locals 😉!

So what is this IDEA of….. ‘Sharing my Christmas with you ?‘

Listen as Erik and Emma break down this idea of sharing your time, sharing your thoughtfulness, sharing a cup of a tea, sharing a gift bag with a family member.

If you have children , get them involved and ask them ‘ if there is anyone on their minds - to share part of their Christmas with?’

We are still collecting donations if you’re able to give - big or small.
The Pedal Shed will be open on Tuesday morning at 9am
12 Pinnaroo Ave, Clifton Springs.

Wowee this project has gone from basic grassroots - just an idea & a concept, to now off the ground- linking arms with Bupa Aged Care Belmont this week was such a blessing!

Picking up a car boot full of Toys, food and items that had been so generously donated - to today, packing it all into another car boot ready for distribution 🥹🙏 wow !

A local lady contacted us this morning, saying she helps care for 96 families on the Bellarine and the Geelong area.
We linked arms with her and now all the toys, over 40 gift bags have gone out and we are not stopping here.

If you would like to give a bag of groceries (non perishable items) drop them off to Erik at the Bike Shed 12 Pinnaroo Ave , Clifton Springs.
Our Team of volunteers will be ready to make up more gift bags -
and come in to Collect one and take it to your friends / family / neighbour. 🎄🎁🙏🤍

This is about acknowledging another fellow human & family in our local community , and blessing them with this gesture.

Share a cuppa tea, or have a conversation at the front door, share a hug, or simply say
‘I have been thinking of you - have a Very Happy Christmas’

We want you to be apart of this - we can’t do this on own.
Come in to the Pedal Shed and collect a Gift Bag and share that Christmas Cheer and Kindness.
Get the children involved ~ as them if there is anyone they would like to take a bag to, and watch the Wonder of Christmas 🎄🎁🫶🏼

Today we had the privilege of heading down to Bupa Aged Care Facility in Belmont, to link arms with them, and collect all the wonderful donations they have been gathering.

The Manager Krystal at Bupa ~ reached to us and asked if we would be able to collect the items under their Giving Tree, and help distribute them into the Local Families here on the Bellarine.

Our team said YES and today we went to collect and bring them to our Christmas Tree for now.

We are deep in Thankfulness and Gratitude for the team at Bupa , the residents and the families who have given so generously.

Now our Team will be working to get these items ready ~ for distribution and into the hands of children and families this Christmas 🎁🎄🫶🏼🤍

The Pedal Shed Bike Shop will be open at 9am tomorrow morning till 5pm and open until Saturday this week.
So if you’re able ~ feel free to pop in and donate what you can.

Our Team of Volunteers will start ‘picking and packing’ Gift Bags Ready for YOU to come in and Collect a Bag.

Our Aim is that you take a Gift Bag to your friend , family member or individual and let them know ~ they are loved , cared for & valued.

We are encouraging families to get your children involved in the giving- come in and collect a gift bag and take it to a family member, an individual, or someone you know - that could benefit from some extra JOY or Christmas cheer.

Use what you have, share something nice, come into the Pedal Shed to drop off your donations~ and more importantly
Take a gift bag, and share some time with a friend.

This is the very heart of this project and we need your help to be a part of this.

This is ur Donations Drop Off location under the Bike Christmas tree.
And this is also our Collection place, for this Local project this year.

We are simply asking for YOU to share what you have , drop it off to us and our team of volunteers with create a gift bag / or Box.
And then YOU can then take it to your friends, family members , individual(s) ~ that may need a bit of extra love , care & Christmas cheer.

A trip down memory lane ~
For those of you who don’t know this is LUKE & ERIK !
These two blokes birthed this project & it all started THIRTEEN years ago.

It was a simple idea - build a Christmas tree in the Personal Training studio and Luke asked members to donated food to donate.

Over the years Luke and Erik have joined together, putting on community bike rides & shared loads of cups of coffees at the local cafes with friends.

Erik from the Pedal Shed has continued on this tradition for the past 7+ years collecting donations at Christmas time.

As you can see , there has been loads of FUN, Bike Rides & Friendships made.

As we reflect on what has been it certainly makes us a tad emotional- and NOW we look forward to what this year brings.

With this new concept of donating food under the Tree 🎄🎁 We are asking YOU to come in and collect a gift box and help us distribute to your friends, families or individual who need a little bit of extra love and care this Christmas.

Later in the week (when we have boxes ready) take a box to your friends home, maybe share a cuppa tea or have a conversation of ‘I see you , you matter to me, you are loved’ 🫶🏼🤍
