Whether you’ve been involved from the beginning, have been working on ideas from one of our Action Plan themes, or you’re curious about getting involved, why not come along for a chat.

Hear what the different theme groups have been working on, share your ideas and skills, meet like-minded people, and find out how you can be involved.

A great turn out at The Village Green today for the first Clarence Town Landcare Working Bee 🐝🌿
Thank you to everyone who attended, Jo from Landcare, Tina from Happy Ever After for organising such a great day and wonderful morning tea and thank you to Clarence Town Lions Club for cooking the BBQ.

🌿 Wharf Reserve Community Clean-Up – Tomorrow! 🌿

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at 11:00am tomorrow for our very first community clean-up, starting at The Village Green.

🚗 Parking is available at both The Village Green and Wharf Reserve. Please be careful not to drive on soft grass areas.

If you’re coming along to help, please remember to bring:
🧤 Gloves
🥾 Sturdy boots
🦺 Appropriate PPE (including safety glasses 🥽 if you have them)
🪣 Shovels, rakes, garden tools or any equipment you think may be useful.

As a thank you to our volunteers:
🌭 Clarence Town Lions Club will be providing a free sausage sizzle
☕ Tina from Happy Ever After will be providing free tea and coffee

Whether you can stay for the whole morning, lend a hand for half an hour, or simply come along to see what it’s all about, we’d love to meet you.

This is more than just a clean up - it’s about people coming together to care for our town. If you have ideas or a passion for improving another area of Clarence Town, we’d love to hear from you too. Every great community project starts with a conversation.

💙 Another idea has become a reality through Clarence Town Community Builders.

The power of conversation. Which in turn identified that some of our older residents would simply benefit from knowing that someone is thinking of them. From that idea, Clarence Town Senior Support was born, by a group of dedicated volunteers ❤️

🌿 Landcare in Clarence Town - creating a better future 🌿 Wharf Reserve & Village Green Community Clean-Up – We’d Love Your Help! 🌿

🍃🌿🐝WORKING BEE 🐝🌿🍃Join us on Saturday 11 July from 11:00am as Clarence Town residents and Landcare come together to help clean up Wharf Reserve & The Village Green.

Meeting Point: Village Green.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and had a chat with volunteer groups at the Clarence Town Lions Club Markets yesterday.

It was wonderful to meet some new faces, reconnect with familiar ones and hear so many positive ideas about our community. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts, wrote on our idea board or simply took the time to have a conversation.

One thing became very clear… our community has no shortage of great ideas.

Now we need people to help turn those ideas into reality.

Whether you have a trade, enjoy gardening, can assist with grant writing, organise events, work behind the scenes, have computer or social media skills, or simply have a few hours to lend a hand now and then, there is a place for you.

You don’t need to commit every week. Sometimes it’s just a couple of hours to help with a project, and every contribution makes a difference.

There are many community groups in Clarence Town who could use your help.
