Join the ACT Section for an exciting site visit on June 19, the Canberra tour to BEV truck trial, Western Sydney 🚛

Bungarribee, Western Sydney is home to the world’s largest Battery Electric Vehicle truck trial, in a partnership between leading logistics company Team Global Express, vehicle manufacturer Volvo and Daimler and the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). Today the site’s fleet includes some 60 solar-powered parcel delivery electric trucks, around a third of the fleet.

With a 7.30am departure from Canberra City, participants will travel by coach to Bungarribee for a two-hour guided tour of the Team Global Express truck depot, including its dedicated charging infrastructure and battery energy storage system.

Returning back after lunch, there’ll be a stop where you can buy a coffee, as in the morning and the coach will see you in Canberra between 5.30 and 6.30pm.
