Important Update from the RFS.... Due to underlying dry conditions and the outlook for warmer and drier conditions, the Bush Fire Danger Period (BFDP) for the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee Local Government Areas will commence early, from Monday 14 September 2026. The Bush Fire Danger Period will remain in place until 31 March 2027, unless otherwise amended.

The CCA Committee would like to share the following information which may be of interest to families in our community.

Moss Vale Public School has opened Expressions of Interest for its new public preschool, which is expected to open in Term 4, 2026, subject to final approvals.

The preschool will be free to attend and there are no catchment restrictions, meaning families from Canyonleigh and across the Southern Highlands are welcome to apply.

Key information:
• Expressions of Interest are now open.
• There are no enrolment or attendance fees.
• There are no catchment restrictions.
• Families from across the Southern Highlands are encouraged to apply.
• Places are limited, with EOI's submitted by 21 August to be processed in priority order.

We're excited to share that our Community Association has a fresh new look!

You may have noticed our new logo appearing on our page and across our other communication platforms. This new design represents our community while giving us a modern, consistent identity for the future.

A sincere thank you goes to newest member Emma, for generously designing our new logo. We truly appreciate the time, creativity, and effort that went into creating a design that reflects our community so well.
