🩷 Throwback Thursday 🩷

Do you remember this? The Pink Kids Markets would have to have been the cutest Turning Canungra Pink event in 2025. The event was hosted by Starting Strong in the Canungra Community Garden, and saw a wonderful group of little entrepreneurs selling their wares in support of Community Cancer Care Canungra.

What a great way to teach our youngsters about business, community and charity!

The Pink Kids Markets is back again on October 25th, 2026 - so mark your calendars and come support the kids as they do their bit for Turning Canungra Pink!

Do you know a keen biker? The Pink Poker Run is on October 10th. Register today, deck your bike out in pink and join us as we traverse the beautiful Scenic Rim region. Best poker hand on the day wins $500. Funds raised support Community Cancer Care Canungra!!

The annual Turning Canungra Pink event series raises funds for Community Cancer Care Canungra to support locals undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. In addition, each year Community Cancer Care Canungra nominates another cancer charity to receive a portion of funds raised ⬇️

This event is such an easy way to show your support for Community Cancer Care Canungra. Enjoy a morning walk along Darlington Range Road, take in the breathtaking views of Canungra, fill your lungs with refreshing country air, and stretch your legs as we ascend the range. At the top you're treated to stunning views of Beechmont and beyond, then it's all downhill as we return to town and a family friendly gathering in the beer garden at the Canungra Hotel.

The BreastScreen Queensland mobile is at Pimpama City Shopping Centre until 3 September 2026, offering free breast cancer screening. Women are eligible from age 40 with those aged 50 – 74 strongly encouraged to attend, as this is the age where the evidence of screening is strongest.
