This week, CFAI team came together for a beautiful double celebration at Masud and Doreen’s home — marking both Diwali and a heartfelt farewell for our committee member Avi and his wife before they left for Perth.

It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, lots of KAVA and great company, joined by club members & friends, special mention to the Fiji Australia Association of the ACT friends.

🌟 We thank Masud & Doreen for opening their home and hearts for this special gathering, and we wish Avi and his wife all the very best for the next chapter in Perth — you’ll always be part of the CFAI family! 💙🇫🇯

🙏 What a wonderful way to wrap up our Fiji Day celebrations — with a beautiful church service at Ignite City Life Church.

It was a heartwarming gathering filled with faith, song and community spirit. A big vinaka vakalevu to everyone who joined, and to the Fiji Australia Association of the ACT for their continued support and partnership.

🌺🇫🇯 What an incredible Fiji Day celebration!

A huge vinaka vakalevu to everyone who joined us today at Amaroo Grounds — from families and friends to performers, stallholders and community groups. 🙌

Special thanks to all our amazing performers, the Noqu Vanua Youth Dance Team, our Canberra Fiji Indian Bollywood dancers, and everyone who brought the stage to life with music, dance and laughter. 💃🎶

Massive appreciation to our volunteers and helpers behind the scenes — especially our volunteer DJ Mr VVNFJ, who kept the beats pumping all day! 🎧🔥

And of course, heartfelt thanks to the Fiji Australia Association of the ACT for their continued support in bringing our community together. ❤️💙
