After the inauguration, the celebrations continued over dinner 🍽️

It was fantastic to spend the evening with members, JCI alumni, and special guests including JCI Asia-Pacific Vice President and President from JCI Australia.

These moments are a big part of what makes being part of Junior Chamber International special — connecting with people, sharing ideas, and building friendships that go well beyond the events themselves.

A great way to end a memorable day for JCI Canberra.

🌏 Canberra → Asia-Pacific → Global leadership

As we start to build out our own local events calendar to benefit our members locally - we want to showcase the truly global opportunities that you can unlock as a JCI Canberra member.

As our community is connected to a worldwide network of young leaders — you have the chance to be part of events like the JCI Asia-Pacific Area Conference (ASPAC) 2026.

In June, leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region will gather in Niigata, Japan, for a week of leadership training, international collaboration, and global networking. Members from Australia will attend as part of the JCI Australia delegation.

We were lucky enough over the weekend to welcome Naranbaatar Otgonchuluun to the JCI Canberra official inauguration as part of his official visit!

It was so wonderful for the JCI Canberra board and some of our members to hear from his experiences within JCI and learning about his journey to where and what he has achieved now in the organisation as Vice President for JCI Asia and Pacific.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll share some further insights into how the day of inauguration went.

This February, we are pleased to share that VP Narku, 2026 JCI Vice President, will be on Official Visit to Australia.

The JCI Membership Engagement Committee is launching a results-driven global mentorship programme designed to make mentorship practical, measurable, and impactful.

For the first time, the programme runs on two tracks:

🔹 Leadership Track – for members strengthening leadership, ex*****on, and Local Organisation delivery

🔹 Business Growth Track (40%) – for members and entrepreneurs seeking real business growth in 2026
