Due to the current fuel situation, the President and Committee of the Canberra Game Fishing Club have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Canberra Yellowfin Tuna Tournament which was scheduled for 16th to 18th May.

We look forward to being back, bigger and better in 2027.

Well that’s a wrap for the 2025 Bill Dunkley memorial Yellowfin Tournament.
Well the weather gods were extremely kind to us giving us the most amazing fishing conditions for the weekend.
Was amazing to see good numbers of tuna turning up.
On behalf of the CGFC tournament committee we would like to thank all the anglers for their participation we hope you all had a great weekend.
We would also like to thank all the sponsors with out you this tournament would not be possible, We look forward to working with you all in the future and lastly all the club members who helped out over the weekend and made the event run smoothly thank you all so much.
