In 2025, the Macarthur community once again demonstrated the power of generosity, raising an extraordinary $383,500 for the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur and taking the charity's total contribution to local cancer services to a remarkable $6.15 million over 22 years.
Announcing the achievement at the launch of the charity's 2026 calendar today, Chair Warren Morrison and Deputy Chair Sue McGaritty paid tribute to the sponsors, supporters and volunteers whose unwavering commitment continues to make a real difference in the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
They noted that the generosity of the community has helped ensure Macarthur's cancer centres have access to world-class equipment, facilities and services close to home.
The morning also saw the presentation of the charity's traditional framed Certificates of Acknowledgement, proudly accepted by sponsors whose support remains the backbone of this grassroots charity's ongoing success.
