Today we had the opportunity to pause and recognise the incredible work of our first responders across the Far North for Thank a First Responder Day.

From an early breakfast in Innisfail, to lunch in Atherton, and a well-earned cake at Cairns, it was a small way to say thank you to the dedicated Queensland Police Service members who show up for our community every day.

Being a first responder means stepping forward when others need help the most, often in challenging and unpredictable circumstances.

Today was about acknowledging that commitment and showing appreciation.

To all our QPS members across the region—thank you for everything you do to keep our communities safe.

CSP Far Northern Region acknowledges and remembers the lives lost in Bondi on this National Day of Mourning. Our thoughts are with all those involved.

Today, we pause to honour the lives lost in Bondi on 14 December 2025. Our thoughts are with NSW Police Force and the community 💙
