Can we get a HUGE round of applause for Nadine 👏💙

In the lead-up to her marathon, Nadine set herself the massive goal of raising $5,000 for Kick On! Through plenty of hard work, organising and running events, amongst the training and sheer determination, oh and a whole lot of kilometres, this incredible human managed to raise a whopping **$4,304** 🏃‍♀️🔥

That’s not just an impressive number. Every dollar raised helps us continue creating opportunities for connection, starting important conversations and supporting mental health education in our schools and communities.

Nadine, we are so incredibly grateful.. not only for the funds you raised, but for the time, energy and heart you poured into bringing people together behind our mission. Taking on a marathon is already a huge effort, but choosing to use that journey to support others makes it even more special.

To every person who donated, shared, attended a fundraiser or cheered Nadine on along the way, THANK YOU for getting behind her and backing Kick On! 💙

Nadine, you are an absolute weapon and we couldn’t be prouder. What an achievement!

Connect. Empower. Inspire.
Kick On! 💙

A huge shout out to the incredible team at Astute North Queensland for everything they do behind the scenes for Kick On. 💙

From keeping our accounts in order to answering our endless questions, they've been there every step of the way, generously supporting our charity with their accounting services on a pro bono basis.

As a small charity, support like this makes a real difference. It means more of our time, energy and resources can go where they're needed most, into supporting our community.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for being such an important part of the Kick On family - we genuinely couldn't do it without you.

If you're looking for an accounting team that genuinely cares about people and community, we can't recommend Astute NQ highly enough. 🙌

We may have told Ange we were taking a normal team photo... what we didn't tell her was that everyone else had been briefed on the plan. 😏

The challenge: jump on cue.

Round one: the team nailed it.

Round two: everyone points at the boss while she launches into the air wondering why she's suddenly the main character.

Safe to say Adllins Media understood the assignment :D

A few laughs, a little confusion, and a great reminder that the best teams don't just work well together, they know how to have fun together too.

Stay tuned for the video ;)

What an incredible morning spent with the team at Adllins Media for one of their annual professional development get together.

With team members spread across Australia and working remotely, today’s session focused on connection, communication and strengthening the relationships that make great teams thrive. The reality is, this group only comes together in person twice a year, making these moments even more valuable.

What stood out most was the culture they’ve already built. The relationships, respect and genuine care for one another was evident from the moment we walked into the room. That’s a testament to the people within the team and the leadership that has helped shape it over the past decade.

There were plenty of laughs, honest conversations, shared experiences and opportunities to learn more about the people behind the profile pictures.

Thank you to the Adllins Media team for your openness, energy and willingness to lean into the activities. We loved being part of your tome together!

Also, a massive congratulations on 10 years of success, and happy birthday for later this year!

Some things are out of our control.
What people think. What they say. What they choose. What life throws at us when we least expect it.

But some things are still ours.

How we speak to ourselves.
Who we surround ourselves with.
Whether we rest or keep running ourselves into the ground.
Whether we reach out.
Whether we stay bitter or become softer through it all.

Learning the difference between what’s “out there” and what’s actually within our hands can change a lot. Not overnight. Not perfectly. But enough to breathe again.

Lately I’ve been trying to spend less energy wrestling storms and more energy building peace where I can. Even if that just looks like slowing down at the creek, taking a breath, and remembering I don’t have to carry the whole world today.. and here’s your reminder to do the same 💙
