Too many young people are moving through their NDIS journey feeling like they’re doing it alone.

They have a plan. They have funding. But somewhere between the paperwork and the appointments, the person behind it all gets lost.

The goals that actually matter to them, the life they actually want…can start to feel out of reach.

That’s where IPS comes in. 💙

We walk alongside our young people through every part of their NDIS journey — not just the admin, but the real stuff.

Building independence. Finding community. Discovering what they’re capable of. Figuring out who they want to be.
We’re not here to tick boxes. We’re here to ignite a purpose.

Because every young person deserves support that sees them.

What a term it’s been. We ended it the right way — with our little ones, full hearts, and a well-earned treat. 🍦

PCYC Cairns, in collaboration with Cairns Regional Council, Bori Muy, Northern Pride, Harbrow Mentoring, Royal Life Saving QLD, Aspire, First Aid Cairns, Wuchooperen, and Our Future Mentors, invites young people to an action‑packed Youth Week celebration!
📍 Where: Cairns Esplanade
📅 When: 16 April | 11AM – 3PM
Get ready for a live DJ, beach and lawn games, volleyball, EDOR, an exciting cast net competition, and a food van with FREE food for young people 🌭🎶🏐

Our Southside community has been asking for more activities for young people… and here it is!

Introducing MOON LIGHT – Free Youth Night!

🗓 Every Friday Night
⏰ 5PM – 7PM
📍 South Cairns Cutters Sports Club (Hall under grandstands)
👥 Ages 11–17 years

A safe space for our young people to connect, have fun, and enjoy games and activities together.

This is about community. This is about our youth.

And this is just the beginning.
Parent or guardian consent required.

The Brotherhood Project is about rebuilding connection, breaking isolation, and creating safe, respectful space for our men.

As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect on a year shaped by our community 🤍✨

The moments in this carousel were built together - through shared spaces, honest conversations, small wins, and showing up for one another. They reflect the strength of families, the courage of young people, the dedication of workers, and the trust of communities who allowed Igniting Purpose Services to walk alongside them.

This year reminded us that community isn’t something you create alone. It’s something you nurture through listening and consistency. Every relationship, every collaboration, and every act of support played a part in the year that was.

To our participants, families, staff, partners, and community members - thank you for the trust, the openness, and the shared commitment to doing what we love together.
