Thefemaleco The Female Co is a non-profit organisation that's changing the game, one woman and girl at a time.

Bridging the gap in opportunities for females living in regional and remote communities. The Female Co – Changing the Game, One Woman and Girl at a Time
Founded on the vision that where you live should not determine the opportunities available to you. The Female Co is a charity dedicated to supporting women and girls in regional, remote, and discrete communities, creating access to opportunities i

n sport, education, leadership, and employment. We are committed to the sustainable reduction—and eventual removal—of social and economic barriers that limit participation in sporting, educational, personal, and professional development opportunities. Beyond direct support, we advocate for change, ensuring that women and girls in the North have a voice, their achievements are celebrated, and their potential is not limited by geography. By breaking down systemic barriers and fostering an inclusive environment, we are driving real change for the next generation of female leaders—whose lived experiences and connections extend beyond metropolitan cities. Through sport, we unite women and girls from all walks of life, particularly our most vulnerable community members, connecting and empowering them to explore new people, places, perspectives, and ways of thinking. Our work promotes reconciliation, mutual respect, and inclusion by providing sporting and educational programs designed to create safe environments free from racial discrimination and exclusion. Together, we are shaping a future where location is not a limitation—but a launchpad.

End of financial year is here.

And while everyone’s talking numbers
we’re thinking about the girls who are still trying to get to the starting line.

The ones who are talented, disciplined, ready…
but overlooked.

Your donation doesn’t go to hype.
It goes to access.

Training.
Education.
Support.

The vision behind TFC Academy was never simply to improve athletic performance.

It was to create an environment where young women can grow in confidence, discover their potential, and build lifelong skills.

Yes, we'll help athletes become stronger and perform at their best.

But more importantly, we'll help them become leaders, mentors, and women who believe in themselves.

That's the real impact we're here to create.

In his late teens found athletics and travelled to many carnivals and state championships. In 2006 he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma) and was in remission ten months later.

In 2008, Otis became Australian 100m Champion.

Otis is now the sprint coach for The Female Co where he passes on his knowledge of speed and conditioning and help mentor athletes at a high-performance level.

Here are the receipts.

The early mornings. The extra reps. The hard conversations. The consistency.

These athletes were always capable of success. We’re just proud we’ve built a space that captures it, celebrates it, and makes sure regional and remote young women are actually seen.

Just some of the achievements from our girls lately 👏🏽
