Hi, I'm Nina and have lived in this incredible community since May 2013. In July of that same year, our world turned upside down when I was diagnosed with an Oligodendroglioma (a type of brain tumour). This page though is about my mission to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research. The reason I've chosen the Charlie Teo Foundation is because this is the man who gave me hope where there

seemed to be none, and an opportunity to watch my three gorgeous kids grow to be the amazing humans they are. The Charlie Teo Foundation is a research organisation dedicated to finding less invasive ways to treat this disease and ultimately contribute to understanding this disease better. I wanted to create an event that was relaxed, family friendly and showcased our foreshore and Jetty - one of my happy places. Jaunt Up The Jetty invites you to register your participation to enjoy the of Vasse, a sausage sizzle from Lions Club of Vasse Inc. culminating in a sunset walk along Busselton Jetty on Saturday 4th November 2023. Registration is $10 (free for kids that are 5 years old or under). All proceeds from this and our raffle go directly to brain cancer research. (Registration link goes live on the 1st September 2023).
