ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝙎𝙊𝙊𝙉 🥳

Our big project is coming🤩🔥

A wonderful meeting with the CEO of the Multicultural Council of Tasmania (MCOT) to showcase our youth group and build our connection with leadership! 🌟🤝

To us… “The Righteous Youth" isn’t just a regular catch-up—it’s where we find our purpose, grow our identity, and prep ourselves to lead.

We want to mean something to our community….

…𝘼𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙢, we have so much passion, talent, and energy to pour right back into our region.

We’re ready to contribute, ready to serve, and so hyped for what’s ahead 😎

With amazing organisations behind us to lend guidance and support, we can’t wait to show you what's next. 🫶🏻

Respect and cherish each other through thick and thin—that’s who we are 🤝

We believe in celebrating, encouraging, and empowering every member of our group, valuing everyone regardless of their age, gender, or background.

Finding a safe place makes us feel strong, confident, and ready to extend a helping hand to the broader community. 🌟

Cheers to one of our member Mohammed 👏👏👏 keep up a good work 🥳

Yesterday in Hobart, our youth group member Iesa Roohullah and our founder and mentor Astri Kirkland hit the mic!

A massive thank you to Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania and Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils (FECCA) for inviting us onto your podcast series.

𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥... 𝓦𝓮 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓼𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓫𝓮𝓪𝓽... 🥰

We believe that the strength of the future lies in the character of today’s youth.

Inspired by the Arabic concept of 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙝 (Righteous/Virtuous), we are building a community focused on:

✨ Moral Integrity – 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩.

🤝 Compassion & Empathy – 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡.

🌍 Positive Social Contribution – 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩.

We aren't just growing, we are growing better (𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧) 🫶🏻

Ready to be part of something meaningful? 𝙁𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙊𝙒 us to stay updated on our journey 😘

Our youth members have been helping the community organise foods and baby basic products , pack hygiene kits, and collect winter clothing for those in need.

Today, we dropped off our first batch of six large boxes and had a wonderful chat with a lovely lady at our local Northwest City Mission

It’s such a great start to our school holidays to be doing something so special ♥️

The past few months have been incredibly difficult for the women and children in our community.

It is disheartening to see families pay the price for media bias and political rhetoric that exploits faith and migration for personal gain.

No one should have to suffer simply for existing, practicing their faith, or seeking a better life.

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚...
We know there are good people in the world—like the two ladies who traveled to our Masjid yesterday.

They came to offer their friendship and show us kindness, bringing a "fresh breeze" to our community when we needed it most.

Seeing this photo is a beautiful reminder that 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙚.

The warmth and smiles in this group prove that together, we can overcome even the most difficult times.

Thank you so much for being so kind and for giving us another reason to keep going.

We know that together, we can overcome these challenges and make Tasmania the home where everyone belongs.

Thank you to our sisters for the delicious homemade sweets, our hearts are filled with love and joy. ❤️❤️

At the heart of our faith,

Eid is a celebration of the " 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚" and the beautiful values that connect us all: 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙨.

As Muslims, we believe that our community's true strength is found in our togetherness.

We are so humbled to share our traditions, our joy, and our hospitality with everyone here in the Northwest.

To the local leaders who reached back to take our hand and joined us— 𝕋ℍ𝔸ℕ𝕂𝕐𝕆𝕌 🫶🏻

Your support is a powerful symbol of the inclusive and vibrant spirit we are building together. 🤝✨

Last Saturday, several of our youth group members joined community representatives for a media literacy consultation initiated by FECCA and facilitated by MRC Tas 😘

It was time well spent, featuring interactive discussions and dialogue on how the media impacts our community.

Thank you Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania, for the opportunity and for ensuring our Northwest Muslim community was included in your report. We look forward to the next session 😊
