Last night in Banora Point, NSW 🐍
This little Keelback Snake found its way onto a property where it wasn’t quite welcome — so we safely relocated it to a more suitable spot.

Keelbacks are completely harmless and non-venomous, and they play an important role in our ecosystem.

This afternoon’s catch 🐍
A beautiful Common Tree Snake (though I always end up calling them “Green Tree Snakes” 😅).

This curious one was found on a balcony at an aged care facility in Merrimac — it had slithered right into a rodent trap box! Not something you see every day.

Surprisingly, this one was a bit defensive, which is unusual for the species.
All safely relocated to a better spot!
