One week from today, 144 players will come together at Wynnum Golf Club to raise money for Jack Watts Legacy in conjunction with Mater Foundation.

My beautiful son Jack lost his 2.5‑year cancer battle in January 2024 at just 18 years of age. Since then, our family has been committed to keeping Jack’s legacy alive through the philanthropy we continue to build around our annual golf day, with over $300,000 raised since Jack's passing.

This year is already shaping up to be our biggest yet — a record $82,000 in sponsorship and close to $161,000 in prizes, putting us in a strong position to surpass last year’s fundraising total of $105,000.

For those not attending the golf day, you can still support the event from your lounge chair and help us make a meaningful difference to the lives of patients diagnosed with rare cancer:

Today we had the honour of opening the Mansfield Junior Cricket Club nets at Yandina Park, Mansfield, in memory of our late son Jack.
