We have some kinda big news... we’re moving to Tasmania! 🌿

The mountains are calling and our little family of 5 will be relocating in the new year!

While we don’t set off on our new adventure for a few months, it does mean that I’ll need to step away from our regular weekly sessions to get organised for the move.

So, over the coming months, please bear with me as things will look a little different. Instead of our regular weekly gatherings, I’ll be holding a handful of special pop-up sessions — a Halloween session & three Christmas-themed sessions (to be announced very soon).

I also want to take this opportunity to say, from the bottom of my heart, the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported this little dream of mine. It started slowly, in between nap times, with a tiny baby sleeping on me.

When I first started, I genuinely didn’t know whether this little idea would work — or whether anyone would actually come! Watching families return each week, seeing mothers connecting, & getting to know your beautiful children has made this little business more special than I could have imagined & has filled my heart with so much joy!

Of course it wasn’t always easy — running a small business and raising three little boys. There were quiet weeks, cancelled sessions, the juggle of mothering and hustling. I have developed such an appreciation for mothers running small businesses. So as Christmas approaches, support local — support mothers. Follow and share their posts, go to your local markets and buy handmade gifts, instead of buying from the shops. Tell your friends about them. You honestly don’t know how much it means to that mama when you choose them..

So, whether you came along once or joined us every single week, I appreciate the heck out of you.

And this definitely isn’t the end of Mothers Many.

Please keep following along as our family begins this exciting (and slightly terrifying!) next chapter. I have big plans for this little business once we find our feet and settle into our new home in Tasmania.

🌿 Flower Hammering 🌿

If you’re joining us on Wednesday, we’ll be using some beautiful home grown flowers for some flower hammering. Would make a wonderful card for a loved one, or a framed artwork for the wall.

My son helped me do the example to show everyone at the session, and when he was over it, I had some fun making different shapes with the petals.

If you’d like to try it at home, it works best with a rubber mallet (under $5 at Bunnings) and some thick watercolour paper, to absorb the flower pigment properly. I just love the different earthy tones of the marigold petals..

Such a simple idea, incredibly fun to create & looks amazing hanging on my wall!

You could really make them out of anything you find out in nature — even more meaningful if it’s made from items your little ones have collected themselves.

There was something for everyone: wide open spaces for running, a hill for rolling, a tree for climbing and a beautiful selection of nature-inspired arts, crafts & messy play!

We have two very special sessions coming up these school holidays. I am so excited!

Wednesday September 23: terracotta pots & insect drinking stations

Wednesday September 30: nature photo hangers & pressed flower lanterns

Sessions are best suited for children 18 months - 6 years old. Younger siblings are very welcome, at no extra cost. We will have our usual messy sensory trays in addition to our take home nature creations.

We sold out last holidays, so make sure to book in soon! Tickets have already been selling 🌿

We were having so much fun this morning that I forgot to take photos of all the activities! Safe to say, we all had a blast. I love seeing what activities are the most popular each week and bring the most joy. Today was definitely our little wooden garden friends. And potions, always potions 🌿

We had:
🪴 seed harvesting & origami envelopes
🪴 citrus & teapots water play
🪴 nature weaving
🪴 eco paints & spray bottles at the easel
🪴 wooden garden friend creations
🪴 eco, handmade play dough
🪴 all about birds tray
🪴 potions featuring frozen flower bowl

Our Gift Basket was also filled by the kindness of others — dill, mini basil, eggs, oranges & sweet potato.

After your flowers have bloomed, and the seeds have dried, collect them & store them in these sweet little envelopes.

If you’re joining us this Wednesday, we will be harvesting seeds from a range of different flowers & then taking them home in the little seed envelopes we create together!
